A Pentecostal Approach to Transgenderism

Awesome post!

United Pentecostal Church International

As Christians we should treat everyone with love, respect, and compassion. We should also bear witness that God has created humans as male and female (Genesis 1:27). While some erroneously suggest that gender is merely a social or psychological construct, it originates in God’s creative purpose and is rooted in genetic and biological reality. In rare cases of atypical anatomy, qualified medical personnel can be consulted. Aside from such rare cases, families and society should strongly affirm each individual’s biological, anatomical gender. For those who experience gender dysphoria (psychological distress with their sex or gender as determined by their physical anatomy), we recommend spiritual and professional counseling by qualified persons who are committed to biblical values. When children and youth experience confusion related to their social gender identity, we should provide them with biblically based encouragement, training, and modeling. We should not block or subvert puberty through artificial means.

God is faithful

Today is the day that RV is going to be picked up (hopefully). It keeps falling through on their end. We are thankful for grace. This time is a time of learning and God is trying to show himself strong. Currently we are moved into the school room in my in law’s house.

We thought the RV was small but this is very small. We have almost all our stuff packed away in boxes. We’re ready for God to move. We trust him to move in His timing. We do not know what he has in store or where we will live but He has a plan for our family.
In the next week and a half I (Michaela) will officially be a LuLaRoe fashion consultant. It will be a fundraiser for AIM. I am going to work very hard and do at least 4 pop up parties every week selling clothes (shirts, dresses, and skirts from little girls size 2 to women’s size 3XL). These are basically where I bring all my inventory and people can shop. I will be doing them online and in person. On Facebook and Periscope: lularoemichaela. There’s incentives for hosting a pop-up. You invite your friends and family and every 10 items sold you get a free skirt. I am so excited to start and raise money for our AIM to Austria missions trip.
Please help us go to the nation of Austria and reach souls!
Revival is happening in Europe!

April – A Month of Change

It has been awhile since I have written on the blog. April has been a hard month but we’re almost through it. This month our world has literally been flipped. Situations at my husband’s job has forced him to switch to nights and because of that we no longer could help with Dripping Springs.

It was a big blow to us but God has other plans. Please pray for the daughter work for they are in need of your prayers. We miss the kids so badly and it is hard to be back at our home church after working so long at a home missions church.

We have had a hard time getting sponsors to help us fund our AIM trip so I am starting a new fundraiser starting next month. I applied to be a LuLaRoe Fashion Consultant. Lularoe sells comfortable and affordable clothing. How it works is I buy wholesale and sell at retail price. It’s a lot like plexus, ItWorks, ect but with clothing. I have a Facebook page already for it. Super excited to start selling product in about a month.

We’re at an in between point. Our RV got water damage in April really bad so we are looking for somewhere to live. Our insurance is covering us and we’re going to get more back even more than we even paid for it. Praise God! If you could pray for our family as this is a big decision, the moving process. We are indecisive what to do next. We do not want to do anything that would keep us from Europe and God’s will. We are believing for God to provide. Currently we are still living in the RV without water or plumbing. We are thankful that we live behind our in laws. We are grateful for any help. Be blessed!

Easter Sunday

There’s been many changes in the last few weeks. Dripping Springs now has a pastor! They’ve gone a year or so without an official pastor. We are excited to work with the Leyva family and be under their authority.

We had about 45 in attendance on Easter. That’s about 17 more than normal. Praise God! God is doing great things in Dripping Springs. We are excited that we get to be apart of the start of revival in this city.

I am so thankful to be able to sing with sis. Leyva and her daughter Arianna for worship. It is so good to have help.

We had an Easter meal of BBQ, beans, ect after service as well as things for the kids. We are thankful and happy to see so many new faces. It’s all about souls. We are believing for even more!

Truly the best is yet to come!

We are doing all that we know to do and walking through open doors. We anxiously await the day that we get back to the field but until then.. Let’s win the lost on U. S. soil and equip ourselves to win the lost on the missions field.

Please keep us in your prayers.
Believing God is working on our behalf.

It is said that the journey of 1000 miles begins with one step. Our journey of 1000 miles is actually 6000 miles to be exact: the distance from Kansas City Missouri to Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso (West Africa). That journey began in 2008 in a missionary deputation service of Bro. Steve Willoughby. I walked into that service a sin-sick drug addict and walked out forever altered by the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. With every chain broken and with a fresh fire in my soul I began to take my first step by seeking God. In prayer God began to plant seeds of Africa in my spirit. I met my wife not long after this experience in prayer, and she too had a burden for Africa. We were married in 2010, went on AIM to Burkina Faso in 2012 and were appointed as Intermediate Missionaries in 2015. Everything that has happened in…

Dripping Springs, TX

This Sunday at the daughter work church we had 25 in attendance. This is where we teach Sunday school. A lot of the kids have not been to Dripping Springs lately. These kids need to be covered in prayer.

Please pray for Zoey, Noah, Jack, David, Michael, Troy, Chase, Bailey, Shelby, Kenny, Lee, and Sarah. These are all the kids we teach ranging from 4 years old to 16 years old.

We had tongues and interpretation this Sunday and it encouraged the body. We also had a meal after service which met the needs of fellowship. We had the chance to talk to the Levea family who have been ministering at the daughter work church the last few Sundays.

Bro. Levea is an evangelist who works in the gifts of healing and the word of knowledge. Several visitors have come in and received miraculous healings.

We love to help with this daughter work. We are learning so much while working here. These kids have barely any knowledge of the word and are hungry for God. We are believing for revival in Dripping Springs, in Johnson City, and in all the surrounding areas.

Three people have received the Holy Ghost in the last two months at Dripping. Praise God! We are believing for even more and for the church to multiply and grow.

The church is in the perfect location, at the center of 4 thousand new homes that will be built around it.

Leona is a Ukrainian lady at the Dripping Springs church. She first started coming to church with her husband and after several weeks coming, a large tumor developed in her throat.

Since that time God has completely healed her. She had surgery to remove the tumor and there are no residual signs of cancer. To God be the glory!

Michaela has had the opportunity to play piano and sing in the beginning of January. She is continuing to take lessons and use her love of music for His kingdom.

Whether it be foreign or domestic,  missions is always our passion.

Hello Again

We are so grateful to everyone has donated so far on our GoFundMe Page. It is by your help that we able to go. God has been and is so good to us.

We are thankful to have good friends like you, people who believe in us and believe in giving towards missions. We are anxiously awaiting the day that we can return to the field.

We hope that your week has blessed thus far. This past week we have been encouraged by the preaching of the word of God by Bro. Levea at the daughter work church in Dripping Springs (where we teach Sunday School) and then Sunday night at the H.O.M.E Church (Bro. Pace).

It was nice to have met the Pace family who are currently on deputation, and are missionaries to Austria. We might have the privilege of working with them next year depending on when we go to AIM (Associates in Missions) in Austria.
We have finally paid off our RV. We couldn’t have done it without God’s help. Thank you Jesus!

Zachary has more training at Samsung as a technician the next two weeks and will be working the nights shift. Please pray for him as he does this.

Please pray for the Robinette family (missionaries over the German-speaking nations of Europe) for they have lost a loved one and need your prayers. Please pray for comfort and strength in their family during this time.

Thank God for the Small Victories

God is doing great things in our lives and in the lives of others. Dripping Springs, the Sunday before last, 6 new visitors came in 20 minutes before Bro. Leyva was done preaching. They were touched by God and came to the alter. The presence of God was so sweet in that room. This last Sunday they went to the H.O.M.E Church which is the church we attend. They live only about 15 minutes from the H.O.M.E Church. Praise God for what He is doing in Cindy and John’s life as well as their two daughters, one son, and the friend that came with them.

Just this week we have received two donations on our GoFundMe page, one from a dear friend of Zachary’s family and the other a young girl probably no more than 12 that we do not know. I am so thankful that God moves on people to give and that can use even a young child. He uses any willing vessel!

It’s so amazing to feel apart of the kingdom of God and to be used for his glory. It’s all about souls; the whole gospel to the whole world by the whole church. We are thankful for the opportunity to minister to children at the daughter work church in Dripping Springs every Sunday. It’s a sacrifice we love to make. We love to give of ourselves to meet the need of others.

God made a way for us to almost pay off our RV Loan. It will be paid off by next week! Praise God! It had been a long time coming but God has provided. He always does. He’s our Johavah jirah! We are very much encouraged this week.

Thank you Jesus for the small victories and thank you for the trials.

Job 23:10 But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.

Psa 37:4 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

We are a stronger family because of the trials. We are thankful for this time of preparation. It’s all for souls! The gospel to the world!

Reasons to Invest

We are at 1% of our budget. Only 99% more to go! It will happen; we are going next year! It is getting so close!  We put a GoFundMe badge at the bottom of the page to make it easy for you to go our fundraiser site.

The motto of global missions is this: the Whole Gospel to the Whole world by the Whole Church. Help us bring the gospel to these hungry and lost people in the GSN.

Merry Christmas

Gruß Gott (God’s greetings),

We are so thankful and blessed. We got our budget and God will provide all of it. He provided for every single AYC missions trip that I went on and my husband went on. He always takes care of children and we are walking towards his will. $10,000 is just a small number to God. We got our first donation from Zachary’s awesome Grandma on his Dad’s side. Thank you so much for that.  Thank you for your prayers. You have no idea how much your prayers and support means to our family.

This Christmas has been a blessed one so far. I do miss my family this time of year. Thank YOU Jesus for technology to Skype, ect and see their sweet faces. We are going to try to Skype my sis (Michaela’s family) tomorrow morning, her Christmas Eve evening, our morning. I hope she likes her gifts from us. We hope to Skype my Mom on Christmas. Hopefully the signal is perfect and we can see clearly their faces.

This Christmas we are overwhelmed by all the love during this time. I am feeling almost over sickness after being sick for 2 to 3 weeks. Thank you for praying for me. You’re the reason I’m feeling ten million times better. Your prayers make a difference. I am thankful for friends like Sis. Christina and her family. I love you all! You’re such a blessing to us, you have no idea how much we appreciate you guys.

Merry Christmas and a happy new year!

God is so good, all the time!
Gott ist gut, alle Zeit!

Danke schön jemand (Thank you very much everyone)!
